Today we had the opportunity to conduct our very own science experiment this was something planned by our awesome learning coaches. Before we had jumped into the topics Mrs Pearson had to explain everything to us and she also had to split us in to groups of 7.I had Vrishti, Imran, Isaac, Mian, Shenmin and I it was fun working with them I was so happy and proud of the way that our group had managed themselves and had worked together collaboratively. We had a whole list of stuff that we needed and all the instructions.

My Reflection
on what we would be doing and I also remembered that we did the exact same thing last year with Mrs Dilner.
Once we received the sheets we were told to glue them in our iDevelop book so once I had finished glueing my sheet in we had started.Mrs Pearson explained what we were supposed to do she said that we were suppose to infer clues and texts from a song so she played the song and we started. As I was listening to the song i heard this verse that went something like my life is on the purpose it it worth it and i thought, is life worth it ? and can i make it worth it.
After all of that Mrs Pearson said to finish it up and hand it in but apart form all of that i liked the fact that we had to infer from that song. i felt that that song had some really inspiring messages and sometimes when we're singing we don't even realise that.

A Day At The Temple
💚
Loved it!
|
Today i went to the temple with my whole school i had an amazing time.I did't just have an amazing time but i got to experience and explore the arts and culture of the Chinese religion of the Buddha. One thing that i really enjoyed was bathing the Buddha and making a wish after bathing the Buddha.
My wish was to have strength and wisdom. We also had 2 leaders of our group i was in group 2 and my leaders were Aditiya and Zavier. Our leaders demonstrated how to make a wish on the wishing bell. I think that our leaders were awesome i personally think that they did a great job at keeping us on track and demonstrating.
Another thing that we learned about was the 3G and the 4G the 3G means 3G1:do good deeds
3G2:think good thoughts
3G3:say good words
next is the 4G,
4G1: giving joy
4G2:convenience
4G3:confidence
4G4:giving hope
As i look back and reflect on my experience at the Fo Guang Shan Temple i can say that was a lot of fun and it was all for a good course.
