Kokako Lodge Camp 2016

                       Camp was absolutely amazing !!

At camp we learned a whole lot of stuff from the experience.

Curious: I was curious about the activities, people, sites, organisation, weather, meals, location, glow worms, cabins and many more. At camp I learned a lot of stuff way too much to count.

Connected: I was connected during camp by sharing my thoughts and ideas, interacting with others, joining in the activities and learning new things. I also connected to netball while I was on the high ropes I motivated myself to keep going and balance as I walk on the beam just like in netball we have to balance with the ball to privet. I was also connected to abseiling I got motivated by everyone around me and I believed in myself and I did it.
Capable: I was capable by taking risks and going out of my comfort zone in most of the activities. I tried my hardest and gave it all my best and in the end I felt victorious. As of now I feel so proud of what I had achieved during camp and all the effort I put in to show people what I am capable of and that I can do it as long as I motivate myself to do it. I was also capable by walking for 5 hours up in the highest mountains in kokako lodge I worked so hard and I kept going even when I was super tired.

Collaborative: I was collaborative during high ropes because we worked together to achieve our goal and without the belay team we wouldn't be able to make it anywhere on the top but it's all because of all the teamwork, determination and effort that we put in.

  1. Hi Margaret

I liked how you highlighted the key words like 'out of our comfort zone' and 'taking risks'. I also liked how you made it descriptive. I also liked how you based it on our four C's. Next time, probably have a little summary about what we did on the four days that we were there. This was great though! Good job!!
